- Upload a clean, up-to-date resume
- Add your availability (after school, weekends, etc.)
- Keep everything honest and simple
A good profile = higher chance of getting hired.
2. Finding and Applying for Jobs
Only apply for jobs you actually want and can do.
Before applying:
- Read the job description fully
- Check location, hours, and pay
- Make sure you are available
When applying:
- Write a short message (do not leave it blank)
- Keep it clear and polite
Good example:
"Hi, I am interested in this role. I am reliable, available after school, and happy to learn."
3. After You Apply
- Check your messages often
- Reply within 24 hours
- Do not ignore employers
If you do not reply, they will move on.
4. Messaging Employers
Do:
- Be polite
- Use full sentences
- Keep it clear
Do not:
- Use slang ("yeh", "nah", "idk")
- Send one-word replies
- Be rude or pushy
